The Role:

The Software Engineer role is focused on driving success of our highly technical user base of 10m+ developers and technologists at 100k+ organizations worldwide through product innovation. In this role, you'll work alongside our global team of elite developers to design and build innovative product features for our Git productivity and collaboration tools.

What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Development experience with Javascript/TypeScript: Node.js, build and bundling tools such as Webpack and esbuild
  • Experience working with Agile teams
  • Experience with UI Front-End development in Javascript and proficiency in React.js, Node.js and Redux.js
  • Understanding of Database Development: As a full-stack software engineer, you might be expected to interface with NoSQL database systems such as MongoDB and Redis
  • Experience with Dev Tools: Expertise with Git, GitHub, GitKraken, Docker, or Jenkins is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish is required
